AW: Dinner

I felt bad that DH had to work the holiday and miss the picnining, so I made him a picnic for two for dinner. Homemade bacon cheddar burgers, grilled potato wedges, fresh salad from the garden and a strawberry-rhubarb pie (also from the garden).

I'm drooling while I wait for his call that he's on the way so I can start the grill.

That's a really good idea. My DH had to work today too, and he has to watch everyone else have fun. I have no idea what to make for dinner...I'm lazy today!

Well...you're not too far off. I got organic beef and uncured bacon from the co-op, and cheese from the diary and made burgers with it. I shred the cheese and bacon and mix them into the beef though, so it's all in the burger instead of on top.
