Didn't realize that "Blindside" was filmed in my hood

The school is where DS takes swim lessons, the house with the lemonaid stand in the opening credits is 4 blocks away, When the boy and Mike are driving is all through our old neighborhood, and "the accident" scene is on the street our old house is on (that we now rent out, it is only a mile from our now house).  Pretty fun to watch a high profile movie and see so much of the hood.  Big Mama 3 is being filmed around here now.  Should be another fun one to watch. 

Blindside made me want to really do something to help children.  So sad how some kids live, and so amazing what a little hand up can do.
