Toddlers would have no idea how to cope with an addiction! This is crazy. I am a super culturally sensitive person (hence my job teaching other cultures), but this is beyond my scope. Not smart.
You know what/ That is just parents gone bad looking to make international headlines. You cannot even chalk that up to cultural differences. They just want attention. Too bad it stems from a risk to the health of their baby. No parent with good intentions would allow that regardless of culture. I have people of another culture in my home right now, and they agree it is insane.
