Baby safe ant poison?

We have ants. Yuck.

Are there any baby/pet safe ways to get rid of them quickly?

good question!  I was thinking about putting the ant traps outside around the house/doors and see if that helps

I bought this:

It's all organic and is made from mostly just oils of spices.  It smells kind of strong like cinnamon and other spices but it seems to work! I just got it at my local grocery store.

We have 2 cats that are still alive and no more ants.

LOL! Well my cats are kind of freaks and they lick anything that smells interesting so I figured if they ate some of it and didn't die, it's a pretty good sign!
