XP: Carter's Shorts

Do any of you have these shorts? Did they shrink a lot when you washed them?

I don't have the knit ones, but all the carter's shorts I do have shrank so bad DS never wore them. They were also REALLY short.

My experience with Carters is that their clothes shrink when washed the first time.  I wash in cold on the gently cycle and a very low heat in the dryer.  That helps. 

Even though my DD fit the weight/height guidlines for the 24 month pjs I bought 2T for this summer because I knew they would shrink...and I'm glad I did, as they fit her perfectly.  The 24 month would have been too small.
