How sad! I loved Different Strokes as a kid and while I know his adult life left a lot to be desired but I will always remember, "WhatchootalkinboutWillis!" He was an 80s icon...

    When DH told me, we both said, "Whatchu talkin' about, Willis!" to each other.  Sad that he was so young.  Somewhat of a sad life, but he will always be remembered by those of us who loved the show.

    That sucks! I saw that he was hospitalized this morning, I didn't know he died =(

    What did he die from? I never watched "different strokes" since I was born in 1982 but I knew who he was and I always felt bad for him because of the way he handled himself as an adult. I saw on the today show that he is married so I feel bad for his wife now. At least he can rest in peace now.
