Sometimes in the work bathroom, I can tell someone is just sitting there waiting for everyone to leave so they can poop.

Sometimes I just wanna yell "Just take a sh!t already!!" and run out.  But I never do because I do the same thing.  I am afraid of people listening to me poop.  I would be so freeing if I would get over this.

LOL!  I agree!  DH says that men's bathrooms are totally different--that they cheer/root each other on.  Gross!

You arent alone... sometimes if I cant hold it any longer.. I start "coughing or sneezing" so they cant hear it plunk into the toilet! Ew. Gross.. sorry! LOL. Im not a fan of pooing in public anyways!

I would not be grossed out in the least if someone pooped while I was in there, but if anyone comes in while I'm trying to, I just can't! I have to wait for them to leave before I can continue. Don't know why I care. About 20 people watched me poop while my son was being born. Can't be worse to have 1 anonymous person hear it, right?

I had to poop at the movie theater a couple weeks ago.  I was really embarrassed and wanted to wait til there was no one there, but I didn't want to miss the movie!

I can't even poop in a public bathroom at all.  I hold it all day, if I have to, so that I can poop at home.

This made me laugh...I do the same exact thing!!  I don't want to be in there making extremely loud noises, if you know what I mean, and have someone hear..LMAO

You know what I do?

I take one or two of the seat covers and crumble them up and put them in the bowl. Then when the poop hits it it doesn't make the "plunk" sounds lmao

I know, it's childish. It's just poop. And I don't care if someone poops next to me, but I can't do it.

I also flush if I'm afraid it's going to be noisy...

OMG! This is me exactly! I HATE pooping in public, but because I have mild IBS, I normally don't have a choice. When I gotta go, I gotta go! It's so awkward though when there are other people in the bathroom! The funny think is that it bothers me more at work because I know the people and it doesn't bother me as much like at the grocery store where I don't know the other people.
