If your LO got gassy when they started rice cereal

How long did it last before it stopped or was not as frequent?  I'm wondering if I should power through it and hope his body regulates or gets used to cereal, or if I should switch to another grain and see if that helps.  Pedi recommended to start veggies, and I'm hoping that helps, before I die from gagging on his smelly farts!

    What kind are you using? Are you using a single grain?

    Ugh, yes!  Georgia got nasty gas after rice & oatmeal.  I stopped solids, thinking maybe her system wasn't quite ready yet....

    Using Gerber brand single grain rice.  I just realized that I was using a leftover box from my sister (her baby is 9 months older and they just stopped using it so she gave me the rest of the box) and the box looks different from the one I had bought but not opened, and the use by date is about 5 months different (Sept10 instead of Feb11).  Guessing I should just toss the open one and start the fresh one instead!

    I just bought the gerber brand rice and my DD has been having more gas than her daddy.
