How long after the "sell by" date do you use meat? I thought I'd plan ahead and bought a bunch of stuff a couple days ago and of course things have come up. I'm trying to figure out how quickly I need to get all my cookin' done. (If it makes any difference, at this point it's pork chops and ground beef .)
Oh yeah, I know I can freeze it, but once I put meat in the freezer, it seldom comes back out. It's just some kind of strange black hole!
