I'm a horrible house cleaner.  I just realized the other day that the tile in our master bath was installed over a year ago, and I've never mopped it...just swept up the hair bunnies from the edges.  Ick!

Me too. We bought our house just over a year ago and i've only mopped the bathroom floor once.

Me too! My cat threw up in our living room (in the corner, so no one is walking over it) yesterday. I used a paper towel to pick up the bulk of it, but I forgot to clean the spot on the carpet

I am so glad I'm not alone! I suck at cleaning, always have. I haven't really deep cleaned my house since I nested, 3 days before I went into labor!

 

My friends say things like, oh I usually clean the bathroom once a week, and well, it's laundry day, or whatever. I have never established a cleaning schedule. I do the laundry when the pile overflows from the basket, and I clean, dust when I just can't take it anymore.

Same here and it does drive me crazy, but id rather sit down for 5 min then grab a mop and clean.

DH and i usually get one saturday a month, and we both deep clean the house! i actually love it! but not enough to do it more often!!
