Before I go to work, I'm spilling my confession about work.
I think that about 90% of nurses who work in ERs and at Children's are so annoyingly full of themselves. I hate dealing with them on a professional level and it really irritates me to hang out with them personally when they start jabbing about their job!! I just feel like saying... "Yes, I know you think you are very important, thank you for that update". I've worked in both an ER and at Children's (in med surg) and my chronic care job is harder and I promise I won't tell you all about it, because I know you really don't give a shiiit! Phew, I feel better!
Re: My FFFC...Oh boy!
My FFFC....
Yesterday's dinner needed rice. I procrastinated starting the brown rice all day until it was too late...so I stopped at the Chinese restaurant and bought a quart of white rice.
I think being extra helpful and caring in a kids unit/baby unit is easy (and emotional for sure). But I honestly think that the best judgment of a person is how they treat the elderly and chronically ill. I worked in a residential nursing home and you can see in those patients eyes how much they respect their nurses. It's especially important, because at least half the time, when those patients enter that atmosphere, it's likely to be their last home.
HAHAHA. I love this one!!!!
I have a couple of pharmacist friends as well and I think the same thing. I know you went to school forever and have an important job, but you work at Walgreens. Get over yourself.
LOL
