Hi ladies,
So i just had my exam and bloodwork done, since I'm just at about sixty days with no period. Well, it turns out I have PCOS. Went back in to have a fasting glucose test this morning, and am waiting on those results tomorrow. The doc's office gave me a pamphlet, and other than the standard "might be hard to get pregnant", didn't say much.
Basically, just looking for some insight and guidance from you all. I know there are a lot of you here who have it as well. Anything would help!
Thank you
Re: PCOS-new to me
Thank you so much! You are gorgeous as well. And yeah, I think he's pretty hot...
Thanks for your help ladies. It's kind of scary, especially with no real information. I will check out the TTTC boards. Just wasn't sure if it would be too early for me to go there, since we're just starting out.
Sorry about the dx hon. I was dx in 2007 and am on 1500 mg of Metformin. There is a PCOS check-in (there was a link to it this morning) that you should try to be a part of. Some of the ladies on there have lots of info in their siggys and there is always a Question of the Day that is very informative.
If you have any specific questions, just let me know! I'll be more than happy to answer or point you in the right direction.

I was diagnosed last June, but this is our first cycle TTC, second cycle charting. I'm in a limbo stage as well, b/c my gyno wants me to still TTC for a year before going straight to metformin and clomid. I talked with another doc in the practice who wants me to come in if I'm not pg by August.
The PCOS bio/check-in is very informative as well as soulcysters.net.

Thank you all so very much. It's sad this isnt talked about much outside of fertility, and that so many of us go around for years having something that can cause so many problems! I really appreciate the support and am going now to check out the PCOS check in.
My doc put me on prometrium but no talks about metformin or anything yet...but I am still waiting on the glucose test results.
