Hello everyone!!  I hope you've all had a great couple of weeks!!  My apologies again for missing last week's post. 

Things have been okay with me.  Mainly I am trying to curb my feelings of irritation and impatience with the world.  Baby is doing great and moving a lot.  I have been able to feel some of the kicks from the outside but so far DH hasn't had any luck catching them.  We had one more ultrasound last Friday and our little man is looking great and measuring right on target.  We were able to get visual confirmation that he is indeed a boy - lol!  Had a regular OB appointment on Tuesday and I am looking good - I've gained 6 lbs since my last appt (yikes!) but she is not too concerned because I hadn't gained anything at all up to this point.  However, I need to be careful and try to slow it down so I don't gain that same amount every month.

Next OB appointment I get to drink the lovely glucola and take my GD test.  Also, the doctor has said she plans to check my cervix - fun!  I wasn't expecting an internal this early, but oh well. 

I hope everyone has a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!!!  I am taking most of the day off tomorrow, and on Monday we will be going to a cookout at my SIL's which will include time at a local swimming pool, so I'm really looking forward to that!  Have a great holiday weekend everyone!!

Hi everybody! I am doing pretty well this week, considering I still have a bad ear infection and feel generally pretty lousy.

I am huge, I met a girl who is due three days after me and she didn't look pregnant at all! It really brought it home how early I am showing this time.

We have our big u/s tomorrow morning and I am on pins and needles, I am dying to find out if it's a boy or girl in there and make sure everything looks good.

I don't post much but I'm hanging in here - about 6 more weeks go as my Peri won't let me go past 38 weeks and I'm still working everyday execpt Tuesday's when I go to the Dr's.

All is good here. Enjoying baby's kicks and looking forward to the long weekend! I go to the OB next week for my next monthly check-up and another growth ultrasound in a few weeks. Good luck to all of us-- especially as it starts to get hotter! 90 in NYC yesterday was kind of brutal.

 Keeping my fingers crossed that LO will be here soon!  At the doc on Tuesday I was only 1/2 cm dialated.  I am having a lot of pressure and cramps, so we'll see!

Hello everyone. Hope all are doing well. Everything is still going pretty much the same as before, except for the inside of my right thigh feels as though I've been riding a bicycle for a few days. I, of course, haven't. I get to go tomorrow morning for my 3hr glucose test and I'm not looking forward to it. But on a good note, I'm off from work until Monday afternoon at 3......WooHoo!!!! Both of the girls have been kicking up a storm, and DH has been able to feel them a couple of times, but of course when I call him over, they stop. 

I hope everyone has a Great Memorial Day week-end and be safe.

This week I had my 2wk check-up after finding out Baby B's heart stop beating.  Baby A is doing very well and developing like it should.  I'm scheduled for First Trimester Screening during my 13th week, another 2wks, due to the demise of the twin.  Other than mentally getting prepared for the screening I feel pretty GOOD!

Hi ladies!!  Glad to hear everyone is doing so well!

 I am still battling a toothache but I FINALLY go to the dentist today to begin working on it.  I haven't gotten a good night sleep in over 2 weeks now and just need this paint o go away!!

Had my appt with the nurse yesterday.  Sort of a waste of time, info I already knew, went over my med history yet again.  Oh well.

 Heading to the mountains with Dh and DS this weekend.  Really looking forward to some R&R.  Gotta hit the library before we leave though and stock up.  Hope everyone has a safe and healthy weekend.

Hi all, I don't post very often but wanted to check in.  Everything is going fine - I'm finally starting to get my appetite back but mostly food still sounds gross to me.  I'm trying though!  I think I felt some movement yesterday, not sure though   I know it's just a matter of time and I'll be feeling kicks

I had an interview yesterday for a new job.  It's weird though, I wasn't currently looking for a job but about 6 months ago (when I was) I was offered a job and turned it down due to less pay and less hours than I wanted.  Well, they have a new position available and contacted me out of the blue!  It's flattering to say the least, that they remembered me.  I work in a corporate setting now and will have 6 weeks paid at 60% for STD and then can take another 6 weeks off unpaid...BUT, I'm not sure I would be coming back here after this baby, I want to work around 30 hours a week and that's not an option here (I tried after DD was born).  At the new job, the position is 30 hours and it's just about the same pay I get here - but it's a small non-profit place and there is no paid maternity benefits AT ALL...they do have FMLA but I don't qualify.  So...they offered me the job yesterday and I told them I'm pg (I thought they would be able to tell but knew they couldn't ask) and they are discussing what they could offer for maternity leave but I know there is no way they could do 12 weeks.  I'm really torn because although I was not looking for a job I knew I would need something after the baby is born and this will be a great fit.  But, the thought of taking less time off after this baby is born does not appeal to me.  I don't care that it's not paid, I'm prepared for that...

I will wait for their proposal and then counter back - but I think less than 8 weeks off is a deal breaker for me.  Anyone have any advice?

Hi all! I've been MIA the last couple of weeks. Another 60+ hour work week this week....ugh...and I probably have to work over the weekend. Have my glucose test today and another appt with the dr. My blood pressure has been staying down which is good news. Other than some insomnia, things seem to be doing OK. Baby is kicking, I'm getting bigger, and all else is well.

Lots has happened, will update for last 2 weeks.

Last week had to go to L&D, I was having contractions every 1-2 min.  I let mysel get dehydrated.  Got a bag of fluids and a shot of terbutaline.

All is well no more contractions.  Saw OB last week & this week for NST, will see him again next week for a u/s and NST.

We talked about the baby being head up, he said he wouldn't be concerned until 36 weeks or so.  We talked about the low placenta, he said in order to have a safe vag deliver it needs to be at least 2 cm from cervix.  I am 1.7cm right now, so lets hope it can make the .3 cm migration!

Still no progress, he doesn't appear to be in any hurry.  14 days until my due date, and loving maternity leave!  My ankles are especially thankful, they haven't swelled in a week!  Yay!!!!  Wishing you all the best this Memorial Day weekend!

We are scheduled for c-section tuesday morning of next week!  My parents (first time grandparents) are here & DH's parents arrive tomorrow.  Nursery is not completed, and I have not written a single thank-you note for shower prezzies, so there are still lots of things to do. 

Ankles and feet are puffy, and my itchy wrist rash has continued to expand up my arms, almost to elbows now, but the new/stronger steroid cream is helping with that.  

Will post about our little girl's birth as soon as I am able!  Hope everyone has a great Memorial day weekend.

Due 12/8/10 - 1 baby - team green!

I'm 34, but will be 35 when I deliver, and AMA, as everyone keeps reminding me. We had our NT scan yesterday, and it looked great. We have to wait for the blood work results, but the MFM was really happy with what he saw on the ultrasound.
