Anyone's LO recognize their name yet?

Sometimes I think DS recognizes his name. Other times when I say his name I think its just coincidence that he's looking at me. What about your LOs?

DS usually looks when we call his name so I think that he knows it.

no- but we realized the other day that we barely call him by his name.  We call him "buddy" or "little man" so now we are trying to only call him by his name (hopefully he recognizes it soon)

I have noticed DD turning to look at me lately when I say her name.  But, it might be that she is just turning toward the sound of my voice.  Who knows?

Same here. We're making a conscious effort to call him "Jaiden" now.

Yes, he recognizes the sound of it.  But I could say something that sounds similar with the same voice and he'd recognize that too.

Yes, he will turn his head most times if I say his name. However, if it's really focused on something, it's hard to get his attention sometimes.

me too...kinda like cats, if you say something in the right tone, they look at you!
