I've HAD it before, but I've never bought my own. I had no clue what I was doing in the liquor store. Pinot Grigio, Pinot Nior? There are soooo many kinds! I got White Zinfandel (but it's pink!?) and I'm having my H crack it open right now.
But, dang! I have no wine glasses. So I'm rolling super classy with wine in a regular glass.
ETA: Dang!! I guess I don't get wine. We don't have a cork screw! Unless we do what my H suggested and break it open on the counter pirate-style.

Re: So I bought my first bottle of wine...
LOL!!
I had to make DH go get a cork screw the first time we bought wine in our new house. Apparently ours didn't make the move.
Oooh, get a sword and lop the top off!
I would now like to recommend one of my fave cheap wines: Smoking Loon merlot.
I am also a big fan of the two buck chuck if you happen to have Trader Joe's.
I am not a wine snob but I am married to one so it makes choosing a bottle of wine very interesting.
Aw, dang, that sucks! I remember a few years ago on new years eve, we bought a bottle of wine and got it home, and realized we did not have a cork screw (we forgot ours had broken before). My husband and his brother were determined to get that thing open though! My husband grabbed a screw driver and started chipping away at it! By the time it was "open" there were little pieces of cork floating around in the bottle! Yeah, we still drank it! It was New Year's Eve! (though I did pick the cork pieces out of mine..
) Got a screw driver??
My fave type of wine is gewurztraminer!
Have you tried pushing the cork in?
I made my own corkscrew once.
I just took a regular screw, screwed it in, then Bun pulled the end and I held the bottle.
...It was janxy, but we got our wine
Nah, I just make a note to remember what DH buys. Sssssh, don't tell my friends. They think I know my shiz.
awe man!! i can't imagine. i would make DH go get a corckscrew!!!
Ditto mrs. rebecca's cheap suggestion. I also like to recommend any of the fetzers (chardonnay and gewurztraminer are my favs)
I could give you a whole list of cheap wines but i wont!!
welp, guess i better go open a bottle. id like a glass now!
You can get it open by breaking off part of the cork and poking the other half into the bottle with a knife.
We have corkscrews in each car if that tells you anything about how much wine we drink.
