For the people that like Evangeline....you don't think the name is too long? I mean it is 10 letters the poor kid is going to have to write...that is my only concern because that is our fav and seeing Evangeline Lily (on Lost) helps because she is soo beautiful;)
I like evangeline because your DD is such a fan of the Princess and the frog and that name is from the movie. you can give hera nickname so it wont be so long

I dont think its too long. DD's name is Elizabeth it's been fine for her. She did just write her nickname (Ellie) when she was in preschool as a 3
year old, but she has been writing her full name since right before she started PreK this year. She's never had an issue with it.
I've seen Isla more and more - I think people will know how to pronounce it by the time she's in school. I like Isla and Evangeline the best. There's a nice song about Evangeline in the Princess and the Frog you can play for her.

My niece is Gabrielle and has never really gone by her full name. She has been Gabi forever so its not really a huge deal on the length of the name. In Kindergarten she went through a phase and used it but I could totally see using Evangeline and using a nickname more often. That is my choice by the way, the other two are not my taste.
Re: rate these girl names
Love Isla and Evangeline.
Don't like Guiliana at all.
You take my ovaries, I take your yarns.
My dh's favorite is Evangeline (Evie)
I'm with your H.
I know an Evie. She's gorgeous. Love the name.

Isla- Eh, nms...
Evangeline- Very cute, lots of possibilities.
Giuliana- Too matchy-matchy sounding when paired with Giada for my tastes. I'm not a fan of siblings names that are quite so similar.I've not crazy Isla or Guiliana, though I like Juliana (not with a G). Evangeline is a BIG name, but it's a nice name. There is always Evie or Eve.
Guiliana (was my great grandmother's name that came over from Italy to America) so changing the spelling is not an option.
My dh loves Evangeline (Evie).
for some reason, whenever I see Giuliana, I think of Giulia Goolia.
Isla was what W was going to be is he was wangless.
Evangeline...no. I DO like Evie, though. and even Eve or Eva.
do you like Genevieve? It was on or list.
Genevieve is awesome...that is my grandmother's name but dh does not like it!
ditto.
Isla- LOVE LOVE LOVE
Evangeline- Like it well enough, but dont love it
Giuliana- NMS at all
I've never heard Isla, do you mean Ilsa?

Liam is 5!
Isla is very close to my DD's name so I'm partial...but I love it.
I also love Evangeline. I love the story of the Evangeline too. So sweet! You should read it if you haven't yet.
Love Evangline!!
Like Isla O
Not a fan of Giuliana
