I am finally happy she sleeps thru the night other than a few cries then I give bink i and she goes back to sleep but....... this 515 am wake up is awful. Anyone else lo up at this time? Has anyone changed it and got the lo out of this habit? Also I feel like I am up every 2 hrs during the night checkin on her or putting binki back in the mouth. I have the video monitor and keep it on all night to and wake up and look at it. This is so bad anyone else like this? My friend said I need to shut the monitor off and get some sleep lol.
Re: What time does your lo wake up in the morning?
DD goes to bed around 8, wakes up between 1 & 3 to feed. Goes back to sleep and has been waking up around 5, kicking and slamming her feet into the mattress, so DH gets up & changes her diaper and she goes back to bed (sometimes I have to feed her again) until about 6:45.
I refuse to speak to her when she's up at 5, if I'm the one that gets up to do the diaper change. I don't want her in the habit of thinking that 5am is play time. I usually have to give her back her pacifier and turn on her sea horse or some sort of noise. But, she'll fall back to sleep after about 5-10 minutes.
We don't have a video monitor, if I really need to see her, I have to walk across the hall. I'd say try turning that off
My DS is up by 6:30 at the latest...which SUCKS because my DD sleeps until 8!
It wouldn't be so bad if I went to bed at a decent hour!!
around 8pm to anywhere from 5:30am - 7am. Lately she's been waking up a bit at like 5:30 to chat to herself, but she usually will put herself back to sleep for awhile. I don't go to her unless she is actually crying if it's before 6am, and I'll just feed her and put her back in her crib to go back to sleep. I just don't want her to ever think that anytime before 6am is an acceptable time to start the day
I have a video monitor, and I definitely like having it since our nursery is on a different floor than our bedroom, but even if I see she's awake, I NEVER go in there at night unless she is crying. It's actually on my husband's side of the bed so it makes it that much harder for me to check on her
If I was on the same floor as the nursery, I'd for sure not use the monitor.
