Planning and # of Children Poll

1. How many kids do you have and their ages?  Pregnant now?

3. How many children do you want?  Did it change after having 2u2 or more (like 3, 4, etc kids)?

I'm curious if those who planned for this want more, if those who didn't plan want more, etc.

I forgot to answer my own poll.

1. DS#1 is 2, and DS#2 is 2 months.

2. Planned

3. 3 or possibly 4.  It hasn't changed after having 2u2 (at least not so far). The thing that would hold us back from 4 is paying for school.  You don't want to go to public school here.

3. Not sure. I used to say 4 - then we had DS and he was REALLY hard. DD has been MUCH easier, so the thought of having more is creeping in. But with no family in the area we would be out numbered and I'm not sure how we would handle it.

I also have my "bad days" of feeling stuck at home, lonely and bored. Like today. My 2u2 are so young still that I can't even take them outside without a HUGE hassle.

1. 3 kids: SD is 8, DS#1 is 3 (today!) and DS#2 is 20 months (16 months apart)

2. 2u2 was not planned, but not prevented.  I'm pg with DS#3 right now, who will be here in 2 months, and he was the same.

3. DH says he's done, I say 1 more.  We'll see how I handle 3 boys almost under 3!  I'm prepared for stress and craziness now, and am not the type to not have a child just because I think it will be hard now.  Kids are here forever, so I'm more thinking about how many grown children I want.

1--DS is 17 months Im due in 3 wks with DD

2-we let both "happen" and they did very quickly. 18 months was as close as I wanted them.

3- 3 or 4 kids, depends on DH's job, finances etc as to when we will. I think we'll have a bigger gap and then do 2 u2 again.  This all depends on how we do with 2 kids

1.) DD is nearly 10 months, yes I'm pregnant now, due in Nov (they'll be 15 mos apart).

2.) #1 was planned, #2 was unplanned

3.) We're not sure.  We either want 2, or we'll wait a few years and have 1-2 more.  Yes, having this surprise so soon changed things - originally we wanted 2, maybe 3.  Now we want anywhere from 2-4

1. DS # 1 will be 2 years old in July. DS # 2 will be born 2 days after his big brother's birthday.

2. Both boys were planned.

3. I've always said I want anywhere from 2-4 kids. Part of me thinks we should stop after DS # 2 because 2 boys 2 years apart seems like it would be great and easy in a few years, fun for travel, etc....But deep down, I think we'll end up with a 3rd at some point, although not for awhile.

2. Planned or unplanned? DD was not planned, but this one was sort of planned. We had planned on starting TTC next month. lol

3. How many children do you want?  Did it change after having 2u2 or more (like 3, 4, etc kids)? We want 4. If H's job pans out, we will just keep having them, go all 4 in a row. If he doesn't get the job he is hoping for, we will probably get an IUD for 3-4 years in between #2 and #3.

2. Planned or unplanned?  ....DD#1 was planned, this one was unplanned but we wanted 2u2 anyway (just hoping for more like 18 months apart).3. How many children do you want?  Did it change after having 2u2 or more (like 3, 4, etc kids)? ... At least 4, though I'm open to more. After this one's born I'd like to wait 3-4 years and do 2u2 again, but that depends on how this one goes.

DH only wanted 2, I wanted 4. I'd still like 1 more, but we'll see how having 2 is and how our finances are.

2. Planned or unplanned? A little of both. We wanted them to be about 16 months apart-I really wanted a spring/early summer baby. The 1st month we used the pullout method-I'm pregnant. lol.

1. DS1 is 17 months and DS2 is 1 month old. 2. Totally unplanned. 3. I used to want 3 kids when I was younger but I now want 2 because it just seems more realistic in terms of my career, finances, etc.

We are thinking 3 or 4.  Depending on how we do with two we are thinking about waiting 2 years and then having 2 under 2 again.  DH has just had a change in his job situation (for the better) and will be around more than we ever thought would be possible so another 2 is looking more likely than ever (assuming I don't get put in the crazy house as a mom of 2 little ones!).

Unplanned, but very, very happy.

I want at least 3.  The next wont be for 5 years, so I kind of want a 4th to have 2 under 2 twice.  This might change once DD2 is born I guess, lol.

2 girls: 20 months apart. DD1 is 2y3m, DD2 is 7 mo.

We'd like 2-3 total.

DH has always said 2. I used to want 4 until we had DD1...  then we decided on 2. But having 2u2 has been so wonderful, and DD2 is so easy going, that now we're considering a 3rd.

2. DD was a complete surprise and #2 was planned sort of - we planned to get pg 2 months after we did, so it was just a tiny bit earlier than planned but very welcome

3. IDK. I would have said 3 or 4 but I truly hate being pg and it's a struggle to care for DD while I am pg, so I'm not sure I want to go through this again while caring for two babies. DH says the only way we'll have another one is if somebody else carries it lol. I'll see how I feel about it after #2 arrives.

2. They were both planned.

3.  I originally wanted 3, dh wanted 2 then 4!  Now he is considering only two but I still want at least three!  If it is a girl this time around we will more likely considering these being th only two.  But I can't imagine this being our last little one!

1.  2 kids - 2.5 yrs and 11 mos (19 mos apart).

2.  PLANNED!

3.  Always only wanted 2, close together and we are done.  I even had a tubal ligation during my 2nd c-sec b/c we knew we were done.  Haven't thought twice since!
