Baby Einstein play center... ok for 4 month old?

My DH went and purchased a Baby Einstein play center today and put it together while i was at work (he was off today). Is it ok for LO to get in now? If so, his feet should be hanging, right? It's been 10 years since my twns had one of these and I dont remember when they started using it. Don't want him ti use before he's ready...

We got the Around the World one yesterday...she loves it. My LO is ridiculously long and her feet still dont touch...we just fold up a blanket and put it under her feet. As far as it being ok...my pedi said it was just fine.

As long as he has good head control it is fine to use.  We started DS in his at about 3 1/2 months but he was holding his head up very well by then.  We just put a pillow under his feet so he had something to stand on.

DD has been using hers for awhile now and loves it! We have the baby einstein too. She goes crazy for the animal noises. We used a folded up receiving blanket in front of her torso because she has great head control but is still pretty small and leans a lot.

Our baby einstein jumparoo has a sticker that shows that the baby should be touching the ground...kind of on the balls of their feet.  Otherwise it should be raised or lowered.

If they cant touch the ground, they shouldnt be in it.  It can cut circulation off to their legs.

I agree with this. I would not let LO in it if they weren't big enough to touch the ground yet. We started with DS at 3 months since he had good head control, but he was also tall enough to reach. At 5 months old, he's already almost too tall for his exersaucer.

I say let the kid have fun!  DS goes in his jumperoo and I put a pillow under his feet.  He gets tired of it in about 10 minutes and I sit with him the whole time he's in it so I'm not worried about him hurting himself.

We just bought it last weekend (the around the world one) and DS loves it! My LO's feet definitely hang but he's able to hold himself up in it. His only problem is he wants to put all of the animals and toys in his mouth...LOL.

We put a phone book or a blanket under DD until she could stand.  SHe loved it like no one's business.
