Any tips? DS has entered paci h*ll at night (we were up 12 times last night to stick it in) and I think we need to get rid of the thing. Any tips to help that process go a bit smoother than 2 weeks of screaming???
I know this isnt much help but we dont offer the paci anymore because DS figured out that he would rather suck on his thumbs So basically he weaned himself from the paci - good luck!
We haven't weaned from the paci yet but went through the screaming multiple times in the night because it wasn't there stage and I found that if I yank it out of her mouth right after she falls asleep for some reason it helps?
I know it sounds crazy because she does fall asleep with it in her mouth but it seems if I don't let her keep it in then she doesn't freak out when she wakes up and its gone.
Maybe its just my strange child though

keep in mind when he's older you can always take the paci away but you can't take his thumbs so I'd try to get rid of that habit too. Our 5 month old has decided sucking on his toe is better than both...he likes to be different I guess.
