i am going to buy ds a new toy or something, maybe a jumper, but i'm not sure what, i want it to be something that stimulates him and will help him develop and i don't want to spend a whole bunch of money but i'm not gonna put a price limit it all just depends on how much dh wants to spend. any recommendations??

Re: toys for baby.
I just got these for LO and he loves them: The octupus has a super touchy face, so LO can change the tunes, and the underneath is really colorful. The blocks have different textures and "real" images. DS can hold them and pull them to his mouth. We go around the blocks and talk about the pictures. They are also stackable and soft (with LO trying to sit and flopping over, it is nice that these don't have and hard portions.)

We have this too. Lia is not big enough to jump but she likes sitting in there listening to the music.

I've spent the majority of my morning researching jumpers, so it's nice to hear from someone who actually owns one of these. I'm leaning towards buying the Baby Einstein one so I'm glad to know your LO likes it.
