Isn't it too early?

So, my abs have felt so sore over yesterday and today. Like I did a hundred sit-ups and only when I go to exert energy through my arms. There's also random "pulling" in my lower abdomen which I am attributing to things adjusting. But, is the sore abs thing pretty normal? Are things *already* shifting around in there? Or am I just reaching for things to attribute to being pregnant?

Re: Isn't it too early?

  • I usually start having this around week 6. it's because i do alot of ab work in my martial arts training and so things are pretty tight down there so the slightest bit of stretch and things complain. this time I'm on a strict no abs order from Doc so probably wont have the same issue.

  • I have felt all manner of strange abdominal pain, pulling, stretching and cramping since the BFP. Every week it's something different. I think things start shifting right away.

  • I don't think it's too early. And I have heard a lot of people say that sore abs were a symptom they felt before they even got their BFP.

your ute's got a lot of growing to do, that's probably what you're feeling.  I don't know about sore abs, although I did have a few days like that myself.

  • I've been having that feeling since I got pregnant! I feel like I've done situps all day.  I asked my doctor about it yesterday and she said that tenderness is normal, nothing to worry about since there is no spotting or bleeding.
