If that is the case, then my LO is definitely not normal. My situation is a little different. He takes many short naps at DC and because of this Friday he sleeps a lot (he is only in DC Tues, wed, & Thurs). On normal days he takes around 4 naps usually, that are anywhere from 1/2 hour - 2.5 hours. It all depends. I wouldn't worry about it though! Every LO is different!
My son sometimes takes two naps for only 20-30 min each and some days he sleeps 2 hours. I guess b/c he sleeps 12 hours at night, he doesn't really like to sleep during the day. I do wish he slept more during the day, but I can't force him to.

Same. DD usually takes 2 naps that are only about 20 minutes long. Yesterday, she took one nap that lasted an hour.
Just this week DS has gone down to two naps a day and they are each about 1.5 - 2 hours. I'm not sure if that will last though up until now he has fought sleep like crazy.
Tegan goes down for a nap every 2 hours and so she normally ends up taking 3 (maybe 4) naps a day. She goes to daycare 3 days a week (this is her last week, since I'm a teacher) and she doesn't seem to sleep very well there, so I don't count daycare days when it comes to her napping routine.
At home she normally takes 3 naps (sometimes she'll take a really short 4th nap in the evening) and they last anywhere from 45 minutes to 3 hours. She normally takes at least one long 2-3 hour nap a day. Starting next week (the first week of summer break, yay!!) I am going to try to get her on a solid napping schedule. We'll see how it goes, lol!
He usually takes about 3 shorter naps. Those things I would think they more equal 2-3 hours, although I don't time them. They just seem super short to me when I have tons to do

We are trying to get consistent, but so far we are having no luck. Some days we have 2 long naps and some days we have 4 short ones, and there seems to be no rhyme or reason.

Re: Question for 6 monther Moms or almost 6 monthers
This. But I'm okay with that, because when he's awake he's not cranky and he is also sleeping all night.
