DH is pretty late from work. I haven't heard from him all day, which isn't super abnormal. Anyways...it was storming pretty bad during LO's appointment today and I heard that someone on base got struck by lightning...and I'm terrified it was DH. I'm crazy...I know.

I would be worried too! If someone did get hurt maybe he had to stay later? Could you give him a quick call or text? Try not to worry too much though.

I would be going crazy. It could be the lightning struck something and their power is out. It can also be a lockdown situation or it was a friend. Trying to to give you other options.

This would totally freak me out too, but I am sure he is fine. Just probably had a busy day and lost track of time.

I don't think you're nuts. I always freak out and start thinking all doomsday when my husband is later than he says he'll be or doesn't answer his phone for a bit.
