Joining you all today!..and a question!

My little Maryn is 3 months old today...I can't believe it!!  I already have a question:

* My baby's hands get sooo cold at night.   We swaddle her arms out because she uses them to self-soothe (she loves to gnaw and suck on her fists).  The little mittens just fall off, so we don't use them anymore.  Does any one have suggestions?  I swear, they feel like little ice cubes! However, the rest of her seems warm, it's just her hands.  Any help would be appreciated!

    DD has the same issue, but I don't worry about it. It only seams to bother me, not her.

    Welcome! DD has the same problem, so I asked her Pedi. about it.  He said since your hands and feet are not vital organs, it's ok if they are cold.  HTH!

    My DD just hit 3 months today too.  :)

    She had the same issue up till a month ago when it started to get a lot warmer.  Since it didn't seem to wake her up or bother her, I just made sure to dress her warmly at night and keep her swaddled.  Is it still really cold where you are?  Or is your house on the colder side?
