One of my friends did the calligraphy for my wedding invitations envelopes and I just got them back. She didn't write " & family or & guest" though and my Mom told me that people will think that their family (kids) aren't invited or that they can't bring a guests? Inside the invitation the response card says
yes____ number_____ so I figure that people will automatically know they can bring a guest?
What do you think? Do the envelopes need to read : ___ & FAMILY or ____ & GUEST?? Or will people just know/assume they can bring fam/guest?
THANKS!
Re: NBR: Wedding help!
Yes! If you don't include family or guests- then the implication is that ONLY the person listed on the invitation is the one invited.
You shouldn't assume that you are welcome to bring your kids or a date to a wedding- some weddings have a very specific head count that they are trying to hit.(or stay under) That's my thought anyhow
AWESOME! I thought the same!!
THANKS SO MUCH!!
