Bad stuff --- our seats the first night were in row 17, left side. Not great....I mean, not horrible and looking behind us only reminded me that I am VERY fortunate to even have seats that close. But when you have been in row 10 and row 4 before....row 17 left seems crappy. Also, I didn't go Saturday night. Seats weren't even on the floor (the ones Joe won) and I didn't want to drive an hour there and an hour back to see a show I had just seen the night before. And I was tired!
Good stuff --- meet and greet went as good as can be expected. I really do know how to work those...meaning I get to have my pic with Donnie (which isn't a guarantee and takes some strategy on my part to ensure it happens). And I had registered a star in Donnie's name and brought him the registry card that goes with that (I know, CORNY!) After having our pic taken, I cupped his face in my hands and said "I registered a star in your name. You are a star in my sky and I love you!" He said "I love you too!" and my girlfriend *thinks* he was going to kiss me. But, of course, I walked away. I need to learn to stay and hear his response...but I get so nervous that I spill out what I have to say to him and then walk away (this is what I did at Mohegan the very first time I met him as well).
I have told myself that if I can lose 80lbs by May 2011, my reward will be the cruise. But I just don't see it happening as I'm in a "bad spot" again. So we'll see.
At any rate, I will be seeing them on 06/18 at Radio City Music Hall. 06/19 is the last night of this "tour" and then who knows when they will be around again, if at all. There are rumors that they will work on a new album after June and then tour in 2011. I just try to soak up every moment I can before they disappear again.
