CD 16 on clomid...Can I still O?

or am i out? I took clomid CD 5-9 and started using OPK's CD 12 and all (-) since....welll u can see everything on my chart :) just wondering what my odds are or what has happened to some of you. I am aware that I may not ovulate first time around on clomid but still hoping :)

  • Are you not being monitored on Clomid?  Your RE should be able to give you an idea of when you might O during a follie check.

  • You really need to go see your doctor to answer that question.  You should have already had an u/s done to show how many and what size follicles you have growing.

    But yes, I have seen it happen after CD16.

    I wasnt on clomid but did take Femara - I o'd on cd19 and got my bfp that cycle.

  • i wasnt closely monitored this cycle(dont have and RE yet)...i know its a bad thing....i will talk to him next cycle. In a way im hoping and praying everything goes good this cycle and dont have to keep going with it all. I dont know how i would handle being closely followed by an RE. Im a nurse and our schedules are done pretty far in advance that all the blood work and u/s could fall on working days which is not conveniant at all...but i'll see what happened if we get there. Thanks everyone :)

    Right...and a trip to the ER and recovery time wouldn't interfere with your work schedule much?

    I don't wish that on anybody, of course, but the possibility is very real.
