recommend your white noise machine

My son has been sleeping pretty well with a humidifier as background white noise but I don't want the humidifier on all the time.  Anyone have a great white noise machine that stays on (no auto shut off?)?  Thanks!

Second the Baby Crack Machine.  It's the only one that goes loud enough according to Happiest Baby on the Block.  You have to keep it on the loudest setting on Ocean all night.

We use the Baby Crack Machine  but when we go away anywhere we use a clock radio on fuzz.

I downloaded white noise from iTunes for 99 cents and keep a dock by his crib.  Mountain Stream is now at the top of my 25 most played list.

 We did the same thing but we have Ocean Waves.  The track is about 10 minutes long so I just put it on repeat.  DD is 4 months and still sleeping in our room.  My DH and I can't sleep without the waves now.

I'd recommend downloading the white noise from itunes too.  You can't beat the $.99 price, and even if you have to buy a little portable CD player (we didn't have one) it's still cheaper than most white noise machines.
