I have been EPing since my milk came in, and freezing the extra milk just as long. I have quite a freezer stash already. I go back to work next week. How do you other EPers handle daycare. Do you take fresh or frozen BM? Any tips?
I do not EP but I do work and pump. What I have been doing is using one bag of frozen a day and freezing a bag to keep my stash up and from going bad. I noticed when I went back to work last week that I am not pumping as many ozs as I had in the past I am not sure if this is a supply issue or just stress with being back to work but I want to make sure I have backup if I need it.
one more thing I put the frozen in the fridge at night in the morning I put the milk in a bottle and tell them to give that bottle first since Frozen milk does not last as long in the fridge as fresh
If you have a big stash though, you might want to do frozen so that you can use some of the older milk. Our daycare allows moms to keep frozen milk in their freezer and they'll thaw and prepare bottles for them. I know a lot of daycares won't do this, but you might ask. Seems like it would be ultra convenient to just take part of the stash to daycare and let them deal with making bottles

I don't EP, but pump and nurse. I pump 3 times at work and what I pump is what I send for him the next day. I usually do 3 5-6 oz bottles and then the morning before we leave I pump one more bottle of maybe 3 ozs that our babysitter will give him to tie him over until I am able to nurse him in the evening.
Re: EPers...back to work
I take 3 bottles of fresh BM to daycare every day
