how long are you going to BF? and do you just know when you are done?...

My plan was until ds was one and I could do cow's milk.  He's 15 months now and we nurse 2-3 times a day, so I guess I didn't follow that plan.  If we decide to ttc and I happen to get pregnant, I think I'll wean then, as pregnancy was exhausting enough for me without producing milk.  Otherwise, I might let him self wean, depending on when he decides to do that!

My first goal (after making it through the 6 week growth spurt - which is my goal right now since that's when I quit last time) is 6 months. Then 9 months. Then a year. I'm not sure when I'll quit. I'll just pay attention to my baby's cues and cross that bridge when we get there. For me - the longer the better!
