Oh the irony... a confession

So, last night I had an amazing, super realistic BFP dream. And I woke up so blissfully happy until I realized it was just a dream. But it felt soooo real. So what did I do at 9DPO??? 9?!?!?!  I peed on a frickin stick. You can guess my result. I blame the 7dpo BFP from ReeseM.  

When I logged in to ff this am, I was gifted a few VIP days - which came with these lovely words of wisdom:

Testing for pregnancy when trying to conceive is a sensitive issue. The emotional toll of repeated negative results is hard to imagine for those who have not experienced it. At the same time, waiting throughout the luteal phase to know the outcome of your cycle can be agony. I promised myself I would never test before my missed period. It's only Cycle 1 and I crumbled like a cookie. Ugh... I am so weak.

boooooo. i hope AF doesn't come and you can get the result you're looking for, how awesome would it be if you got pregnant during cycle 1?? I know, i'm too optimistic. GL!

I got my BFP at 9DPO...very clear too.

I am going to try and get some resolve though...this time around has seen a lot of pee sticks wasted!

It is really hard to resist the urge! I have yet to POAS and last cycle I found myself at Walmart comparing prices and holding a box in my hand. I was only 11 DPO so I made myself put it back! I refuse to buy a test until I'm seriously convinced I might be pregnant.

You just might be surprised in a few days! It's not over until AF comes!

lol  You gave in to temptation!  For some reason, I don't find it difficult to wait... I am a freak.  You must stay strong!

I would have done the same thing... it's way too hard to resist the urge sometimes! Hopefully AF doesn't show and you get your BFP!

Aww I know how you feel.. I'm in my first cycle trying and I also POAS 11 DPO yesterday - stupid me!

Oh well - here's to being strong and hopefully not out yet this cycle!

Aww, I understand. I was going to test this morning too but I woke up early to pee and forgot to pee in a cup. It was probably for the best but still...damn curiosity.

Just like Patty, I got a clear BFP at 9 dpo as well. So that makes it very hard for me to wait.

I am 8 dpo today and taking extreme precautions.       F. ex. I woke up at 4am because of the cats and I made myself go pee so in case of later temptation, my FMU  wouldn't be as "good."

Then when I got up this morning, I ran to the bathroom as quickly as possibly just so I wouldn't have to time to grab a cup and a stick on the way. 

As I said, I am only 8 dpo...so yeah. I blame it all on ReeseM.

Ugh I know how you feel! I also had one of those dreams last cycle and I was so sad when I woke up and realized it was all in my head!

Maybe your dream was from being tuned into implantation. Who knows? I hope you get your bfp whenever you decide to test next.

Too funny about the FF words of wisdom you got today though.

I'm shaking my fist at FF for moving my crosshairs one day ahead today, making my wait one day longer. Blerg. I hope I can be patient this week and wait.

It's so weird you posted this because I had the same dream last night. Except I got a BFP on CD5 and was telling myself that it wasn't possible to get a BFP then in my dream. I wanted SO badly to POAS but I am restraining myself. It's agony, I know.... Stay strong.... Stay strong....

Last month was my first month TTC and I gave in to temptation too!  I swore I wasn't going to use those tests in the cabinet until my period was late... haha.  Maybe this month I will be able to use a little more self control, but I doubt it!  I am quickly becoming a pee-pusher
