Q) Replacing Medela pump parts

How often do you replace pump parts.....cups, the white valve deals, ect? I have the Medela Pump Advance Metro Bag deal with the soft cups. Both the cups have indentations on them just above my nipples (where it suctions down)......is that normal? I was EP for a week or so and now pump at least 1 to 2 times a day right (so it is getting quite a bit of use) but am thinking about going to EP during the day.

Thank you so much! I was wondering if I should get the hard cups.....they make me nervous though...they look so unforgiving and ruff, lol. I will give them a shot though because I am noticing my suction is starting to well suck....
