MN ladies: gtg and a question

I mentioned it before but in case any one missed it - is anyone up for a gtg while I'm in town in a couple of weeks? We'll be there the week of the 31st and through the 6th. I could do anything day or evening at the moment but I can also do Saturday morning sometime starting before lunch (like maybe 10 or 11?) for a couple hours since I know that weekdays don't work for everyone. Any day work better for anyone and anyone have any suggestions - I can do kid or adult friendly. Noel will likely not be tagging along since there's no way the inlaws are going to let me run off with both kids in tow!

Also - what do you guys use for bug spray? My inlaws live half a block from Bald Eagle Lake and have mosquitoes the size of small birds in their yard. They seem to find me and Noel particularly tasty and ignore everyone else (MIL: I don't know why you think the bugs are so bad here, no one else has a problem . . . as I scratch several good size welts mere moments from stepping out on their porch). I can never find anything that isn't like Deep Woods Off and full of Deet when I go shopping there so I'm hoping to pick something up here before I leave.

    I'm in! Evening or Saturday will work best for me but if I get enough advance notice I may be able to take a day off work. You can e-mail me at kjerstene at gmail to plan specifics if it's easier. It will be great to see you again!

    I may be interested in joining, but only if it's on a weekend.  I wanted to join the last GTG but it was a weekday and didn't we get a hit by a snowstorm too?

    I don't have any recommendations for bug spray.  I have california baby bug repellant I think.  I used it last summer when we went camping at a really buggy place and DS ended up with only one bug bite on his forehead.  I'm not sure if the bug repellant really worked that well or if it was because I had DS in a front carrier and swatted all of the bugs away from him and got eaten alive myself.

    I should be able to make that work ;) 

     

    we're going to try that off fan this summer. I know a lot of people swear by the Avon skin so soft too.
