So I posted this as a response yesterday but Im posting it again bc its bugging me!

My cousin who has not had a job in over 2 YEARS! Started dating this jobless girl who is a wickin (which evidently means that she thinks she's a witch!) are pregnant and expecting in August! REALLY!?!?!? Not married, no job, no life, and HE"S haveing a baby!? WTF universe!!!!? We have been married for two years and are on month 3 of TTC and nothing but they get KU after dating a handful of months! AND they will have the first baby of the fam!!!!!!!!!

I am not sure what her beliefs have to do with it, but that is really terrible news and I am sorry.  I hope they get their act together for the sake of their child.  Your day will come soon.

It can be easy to get wrapped up in this, and it sucks.  My brother just told us last month that he's "pretty sure" he got a girl pregnant...3 YEARS AGO!  I was all set to be the one to give my mom and dad their first grandchild, but apparently they've been grandparents for years.  It bugged me for a while, and we still don't know for sure, but I had to let it go because there was NOTHING I could do about it.  GL!

I'm sorry but it's Wiccan and it's a form of religion. They are often called witches but it's a real form of religion, even though by your post you may not think so. You might consider learning A bit about it before judging her.

Life has a tendancy to be unfair I'm sorry you are having a hard time.

Um, yea, Wiccan, and I am not sure what that has to do with anything. My Wiccan friend just had her sixth baby...so?

 

And the first grandchild in the family thing is way overrated. Jack was first on both sides, and SIL had a baby almost a year later. No difference.

Sorry about the situation! I can see why her being wiccin makes it especially wierd. You feel that since you are a "normal" person, you should get to have the first baby. I think anyone would feel that way in that position. Hang in there!

I dont get it. People get pregnant. Yes, that includes people of all races, religions, etc. Even people that (gasp) are related to you. This is not the end of the world.  While I was typing this response, someone likely got KU.

 This.  It is a slight kick in the face that they are expecting after little effort and given job situations, etc, but pregnancy happens and which religion you are, married or not married doesn't always make a difference.  Just because she is Wiccan doesn't mean she won't be a great mother . . .
