My baby is only 3 mos. old and he is peeing right out of a Goodmama or B4 with a wool cover.
He doesn't sleep thru the night, but he "goes to bed" at 9:00 and sleeps until 9:00 AM, waking for feedings only, and he stopped pooping at night weeks ago. So I try to not change his diaper between 9 and 9 because that really wakes him up.
I use an Aristocrat or a MonkeySnuggles wool cover. The Aristocrat does the best, but it still gets his PJs or sleepsack wet (posted about that before) and the MS soaker was an all-out fail, got EVERYTHING wet. I will re-lanolize and try again, but what else could I do? At only 3 mos., surely this isn't the most he will ever pee, right? I would think it will ramp up even more from here. Yikes.
Re: I need nighttime CD help, purdy please
We always had to change DS during the night when he was waking for feedings. There was no sposie that could contain that much pee, not even the overnights and we tried every single CD combo that we could come up with. You could try adding a doubler or two to the GM/B4 (we liked zorb) first...
No, I thought (at least with the B4) I didn't need to. But I guess that is the next step, aside from trying another diaper. Would you stuff it inside the diaper or could I put it between the diaper and cover? The diaper is already bulky and fairly snug on him, the chunker.
I always stuck mine in the diaper, but under the soaker. We used GMs with that method for a loooooooong time.
