Wanna See What We Had for Dinner?

image

And it got rave reviews!

(Round pizza is margherita pizza (that's alfredo sauce w/ sliced tomatoes & shredded white cheeses and fresh basil with a spash of white wine), and the bar pan holds a pizza made w/ goat cheese, lemon juice, grilled chicken, asparagus cuts, fresh parsley, & shredded romano cheese)

Thanks!  I'm a froufrou kind of girl.  I like my lace and pretty dinnerware.  Except those plates.  I got them really cheap, and they've really held up, but I'm ready for some pretty ones again now.

I love that you do those kinds of extra touches.  I think it's a lost art.  When your kids are all grown, they are going to appreciate all that effort when they realize exactly what it really means, unless they already do!

  • Those look yummy!

I didn't realize margherita pizza had alfredo sauce on it.  Does it always or was this your twist?  I've honestly never had one...I always go for something else for some reason.  Either way it sure looks good!

It's how this hole-in-the-wall Italian restrurant that I love makes it.  Some people make it with ricotta cheese, and others with just the white cheese.  It depends on the family and where in the old country they came from, I imagine.

I love Italian people.  They make incredible food.  and just when you think you've tried it all, they make something more incredible than before.  And they love food, so I <3 that, too.
