I think I know which message board you mentioned in your previous post. What did you think of it?
I signed up last year at Babypalooza, but never posted since the Bump had more pregnancy boards. It seems like it's mostly sahm's. Anyway, I've been thinking about posting more and possibly going to a mom's night out. I just wondered what you thought about it.
Re: Lydia
I honestly haven't posted much on there. They recently changed the format of the website where it is supposed to be more like facebook and more user friendly. (The site is actually owned by the Tuscaloosa News, and the moderator of it is the wife of one of my coworkers.)
A lot of the people on there are stay at home moms. But, they are really active... and getting more people involved. They have events every week. (They have a weekly walking club, play dates at the park, bunco, a mom's night out, a book club that is held at night, and a crafts club that is held at a local restaurant where you just bring stuff to work on.)
I'm trying to get to know more local moms since most of our close friends in Tuscaloosa don't have kids yet.
I am actually supposed to go to play at their first bunco gtg tomorrow night, and I know they are looking for more people to play. Want to come with me?

I would love to go to bunco, but I'm on my own this week with JH. Let me know if they still need people next time. I fizzled out on my last bunco group when I got pg.
I'll try to check the site more often. My two friends with babies close to JH's age are moving in June and I need more mom friends.
Thanks for the info.
It is a neat resource. I haven't gotten very involved with it, but I'd like to.
