ugh.
Saxton was up 2 hours earlier than usual. Other than when he took his 90 minute bathe, he was a terror. I'm talking, pull the dog's tail-throw things-hit mommy & daddy-scream-cry-and yank tablecloths off tables, terror.
Porter Puppy has cabin fever. He doesn't want to be out in the rain. He doesn't want to play fetch, tug-o-war, or bellow rub. He's chewing on everything BUT his chew toys (that I keep giving him). He sits and cries at the door, and instant we get outside, he sits and cries to go back in.
DH is in bed, but he can't sleep. All I hear is him tossing & turning, and I just gave him 2 Tylonal pm in hopes it'll help him pass out.
I fed Saxton lunch at 11am, and put him in bed for his nap by 11:30. coming back down the stairs, Porter came down behind me, went between my legs, I lost my footing, and slammed my right arm, right above the elbow, between the newel (sp?) post and the curved rail. It's already black, and my whole arm is tingling.
and now Porter is whining in the entry way and wandering around like he's lost.
Do over, please?

I think you definitely deserve a do over day. Hope it gets better for you! I watch my nephew on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and he is a complete terror.. He loves to poke, kick, jump, throw toys at DS so I'm constantly having to keep an eye out.
((HUGS))
You have the handrail of death, I swear it.
Sorry your day is starting all sucktastic. Here's hoping it improves, STAT!

This! Hopefully after everyone wakes up it will get better.
Totally! Maybe then the day can "start over."
::cringes because it's rainy here too and yesterday sucked::
Even if the vet said to cut back on the feed & treats? He weighed 10 lbs 6 oz at 6 weeks, and he's quite, excuse the pun, portly. He's a lazier puppy. Our vet looked him over when DH took him in right after we got him, and she said to watch how much he eats, and try to limit him to 2-3 treats a day.
He's passed out now. But, ftr, I put some peanut butter & a treat in his kong, and he played with it for about 5 minutes and then went pack to being restless.
Desperate times call for desperate measures. :op
My dogs love cut up carrots for occasional treats. If you have any, try those to see if he'll go for them.
