Good Morning Ladies....... I have a quick question.  I'm am planning on cloth diapering our first child due in september but I wanted to buy a pack or two of infant sposies just in case for those first few days or weeks we may need them.....Anyway I bought a pack of Tushies last night (online).  Have any of you used them?  What are your thoughts?  They are the only brand that I found that are gel free.  If you have any other suggestions for a gel free sposie please let me know. 

PS...... Though I generally stick to my "september mommies" board I have to say that you ladies are so nice and friendly and extremely knowledgable and helpful to someone like myself who is trying my best to do what it right for my baby.......  Thanks a Million

To my knowledge, they are the only brand available without any gels. Other brands use unbleached fibers, but still gels. I haven't used the Tushies brand, but I recall someone regular on this board did use them with her son (just don't remember who it was...)  She said you may need to change them more frequently, cuz there isn't the gel to add extra absorbency. For a newborn, this wouldn't be such an issue - at that point, it is more about fit in order to contain blowouts.
