Watching a baby story!

I am bawling my eyes out!! They just had a boy  and I am  so happy for them lol I dont even know them.It is also reminding me of how happy we were the day my ds was born. I cant even explain the feeling you have the day your baby is born and  I cant wait for this one to come lol.

  • Ok, usually I only lurk on this board because we are still TTC, but I HAD to let you know you are not alone! I totally felt like jumping up and down when they started screaming "It's a Boy!" After 10 years of trying... beautiful story!

I'm fine until the baby cries for the first time.  Then I cry.

  • I cry every time I see a baby born on tv. Even if its a commercial.

Me too!  I didn't used to, but now every time I see any baby related show (Baby Story, Deliver Me, etc.) I cry.  Actually, usually I start getting really worried during the birth part, thinking OMG how am I going to do this, then as soon as the baby is born I burst into tears.  LOL!

  • I did the same thing yesterday! I watched "A Baby Story" like 3x and everytime the baby was born I'd just start bawling my eyes out. After seeing how I reacted to such an expirience to complete strangers on TV, I know for sure that I'll cry when my baby is born.

Oh my goodness I never watched any of those shows until a few days ago, I set up recordings for ALL those kinds of baby shows, like Baby Story, Baby Diaries, Bringing Home Baby, etc. etc. I'm borderline obsessed now! It is helpful because this is my first and I don't know what to expect as far as delivery/the first few weeks with baby/etc. I've learned a lot just by watching!
