As I stalked FSOT today, I came across a guaze that I LOVE.  I know that it might not be the best for my 20 lbr. but I am thinking ahead.  How do I judge if it is a good quality material?  And how wide should it be?  Here is the link:

I saw her listings and was thinking of one for the pool (our pool) b/c I'm completely striking out on my ISO of a water wrap...anyway I have no idea whether it's good or not so I'm no help there but I also liked the gauze lol.

It's hard to say how good the fabric is without actually seeing it in person, but the fact that she says there's not meaningful stretch is a good thing.

The fabric is probably fine - gauze is supportive enough, you just have to wrap super carefully.  But that's awfully narrow.  Most wraps are more like 25 inches.  I'd be a bit worried about that since you aren't wrapping a newborn :-(

I was thinking for the next LO. I thought gauze wouldn't be a great option for DS anyway. I just fell in love with the pattern! How long do you think I could use a 20 inch wide one if I started newborn?

I have gauze wraps, mine are between 20 and 25 inches, and I carry my 18 mo old no problem in all of them!

I think you could get a few months out of it unless you had a beast of a baby ;-)
