I'm on strike

I'm not cooking or doing any housework other than what is completely necessary (for DD and myself) until DH apologizes for treating me like a maid and for not appreciating what I do.  We've been barely talking since Thursday, which is unusual because usually he'll want to talk.  He asked me what was wrong on Friday, I told him, and he made a face.  Seriously!

Usually I'm not one to post sh!t on the internet about my husband, but I've had a terrible past week (incl. mother's day) and I have no friends I can talk to right now. I'm really unhappy.

I am so sorry. (((HUGS))) DH and I go through our issues. We got counseling but sometimes the ugly in him still flares up. I know its hard.

I'm sorry you have to go on strike. Issues like the ones you mentioned are so hard to deal with. We went through a while where I was cooking two meals because DH wouldn't eat anything, and then he started b!tching about having to do so many dishes. So I just stopped until he realized what an idiot he was being. He's a man, so it took quite a while, but it eventually got through his skull (with some reminders!).

Until yours gets it, I'm sending (((hugs))), , and I hope that you get the appreciation and respect that you deserve very soon!

Thanks, ladies.  I really appreciate the support.

Now he's claiming to be sick, symptoms unspecified--that he's been sick for "a few days now."  Mmm hmm.  Well, I'm not making him soup.
