kids party, guess I wasn't ready

Yesterday was a tough one. Went to our friend house for their little boy's 1st b-day.  I was okay for most of it kinda in a daze then after everyone left we had some beers and hung out.  They also have a 3 yr old girl who is sooo bright.  Her mom and I were talking an she must have overheard us mention the baby. 

3yr old: "Where's your baby?"

Me: "He's in heaven."

3yr old: "Why?"

Me: "Because God needed him."

3yr old: "But why"

Me:"I wish I knew"  and then I lost it:(

3yr old:"Well was it a boy baby or girl baby?"

Me:"a boy baby"

3yr old:"well what do you call him?"

Me:looked at my husband and now he had tears in his eyes, "we call him R.J."

Her mom felt so bad.  It was okay kids are just so honest.

I came home last night and cryed most of the night.

I'm sorry you had to go through that. I also "interrupted" my preg at the same time as you. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do, and I was a wreck for a solid 2 weeks after. But things are turning around as I know it was the best option since it was not a healthy pregnancy. I'm finding that there aren't good days and bad days, it's more like good hours and bad hours. But hanging out on here has helped me so much as everyone is so kind and supportive.

Thanks SL2010.  I debated putting that on my siggy but I felt like I wanted people to know.  And unless they are in our shoes they can't completely understand.  I feel confident in my decision.

That's rough. I'm sorry.  I went to my niece's 1st bday party a few weeks ago and I had a much harder time than I expected to.
