Is it bad that I want a sprinkle? Total Whine!

This is something I would only share with you ladies, but I am going to a sprinkle for a friend of mine tonight and a little jealous.  She is having a boy after having a girl 2 years ago..and I am having another girl..but man, diapers and wipes are expensive.  I guess everyone figures we dont need anything!  Oh well...WAAA...I am just being whiney!

I went to one for a friend and she had a HUGE turnout.  Way bigger than my shower with #1.  I actually found I still needed a lot of stuff with #2 and #3, despite having all boys, so was kind of bummed that no one wanted to do something with just the immediate family.  Granted, it wasn't so much about wanting to get a bunch of gifts though since it is just as easy to just buy them.  It was more the fact that I felt like I was not at all important with these pregnancies and the focus is only on my children.  I guess they assume since I have already been through it then it isn't necessary to make sure the mom is feeling alright too:)

It isn't bad!  Our boys will be a little over 4 years apart.  It took us so long to get pregnant with the first (8 years) that once 2 years had passed, we started getting rid of some things.  Some of the clothes, toys, the travel swing, the stroller and car seat.  We just didn't have the space to store it all!  I'm grateful that my work threw me a shower and that my girlfriends are throwing me a sprinkle.

throw a diaper party--keep it casual and ask people to bring diapers or other essentials like wipes, lotions, powder, etc.
