FF, daycare and CD?'s (for a friend)

I'm trying to get a friend of mine on board with CDing. She likes the idea, but is concerned about daycare screwing them up, and she FF's, so there is the whole issue of what to do with the poop as well for her from the start. I know that CDing at daycare is legal in Ohio, and gave her a link that had the information on that. I told her also that AIO's are pretty well impossible for day care's to screw up.

If you CD, FF, and send your LO to day care... do you just have them put the poopy diapers in the wet bag and then take care of them when you get home? I would assume that asking them to spray them off would be out of their realm of duty. Is this difficult to do? Do stains set in more or is it harder to spray them off? I just want to give her the full picture so if she does decide to get into it, she doesn't down the line get frustrated b/c I left out a part that was more difficult to deal with. We've just started having to spray our diapers b/c DD's just now starting solids, and I've been loathing this moment.. lol

  • a friend of my CD'd and was Bfing, but she stopped after 2 months due to some major issues. She continued to CD and would rinse the poop in her laundry sink a little before washing. She did have some major stink issues with microfiber--BGOS--and not so much with PF's. Who knows if thats what the stink was from, but I think it is.

  • We just have the DC put them in a wet-bag and we spray when we get home. No staining issues I use BG 3.0's.
  • we use flips at daycare.  They put the poopie diapers in the wetbag and I deal with them all when I get home.  No big deal.  I put on a pair of rubber gloves and do the whole lot.  It's not really that hard.  I hope she gets to do it.

  • I put disposable liners on my CDs (HH and BG) for daycare and most of the teachers are good at tossing these away, which makes clean up simple. But there is a teacher who doesn't and she sends all the poop home. So I spray them at night and wash every other day - no stink issues.
