Not everyone is aware that they expire. It is Freecycle so they may just be clearing out their home from their lo's stuff from yrs past. You only stay current w/kids stuff when you have kids

my freecycle included a 'car seat safety' file in all their emails when i joined, so hopefully someone will read that and the item just won't be used.

We have that, and a reminder that goes out each month.  Go4 was a huge help in getting that established.   Your wifey rocks.

Oh, I totally get that.  I was very nice in my response to her but it still freaks me out!  The idea of babies being put in seats that aren't safe scares me.
