Going yardsaling this morning & scoring 47 quart & 2 pint canning jars for $4. Included in the massive jar collection was a 2.5 dozen of mayo jars (NOT safe for canning). I put them in a big box to go to the recycling center.

My friend calls me back about a table & benches I saw at a yardsale, and I mention the canning jar score. She asks if there were any other quart size jars that I saw. I say no. She sighs and says her church's VBS is wanting to make sand sculptures in jars in one class, and another is supposed to make cookies in a jar. I tell her about the mayo jars. She demands I hand them over.

Friend is now in possession of the jars.
