what to do with old mattress pad?

any ideas??  I really don't want to throw it out..it just has a bunch of holes.  I don't think it will work as cleaning rags.  Any thoughts?  I don't sew, but have a friend that does.

i once used one as batting in a quilt. I have also used pieces of old ones to stuff dolls or pillows. If it has any questionable stains, i'd probably say to get rid of it.
