I fell =(

Big sigh. I was taking our fur kids out for their bathroom break early this morning. I was carrying one of them, and I fell down the stairs from our patio and landed on my left ankle. DH is mad that I won't go to the ER, but I want to observe first. It is pretty swollen and black and blue. I wish I could tell if it was a sprain or fractured. I just don't want to spend 4 hours in the ER waiting for an xray only to be told it's sprained. Please send some T and Ps for me. If the pain worsens, I will make an ER trip today.

Oh geez, ouch! I'm sorry. Might not be a bad idea to get it checked out anyway... bring a good book. Better to know than wonder and ending up making things worse.

Ouch! Does your pcp have an xray in office? Mine does and will do the xray and send you on to the ed if you need it (he's also open on sat). A walk-in can probably do it if you want to avoid wasting hours of your life at the er.

OOOOoooo ouch is right, im so sorry to hear that, i would be the same, hating sitting in an er......jeez i hope its neither sprained or fractured....just bruised!!!! Keep us informed, take it easy and my t&ps are with you!!!

Oh, my gosh! Watch it closely and keep some serious ice on it! Can you move it? I hate going to the doctor too. As i get older, I am starting to be better at going! Take care of yourself! T and P!
